1. DUTCH BRAID FOUNTAIN UPDO

First, do a dutch braid on each side of your parting and tie them securely with an elastic. Grab all of your hair (including the braids) into a low ponytail and twist this upwards. Grab your claw clip - we’re using the Cora claw clip – and place this over the twist. The hair that’s left will fall over the claw clip and look like a fountain – hence the name of the style!

This is a personal favourite! I’ve tried this before but it hasn’t worked because of the thickness of my hair but I finally found a way to make it work. Tie your hair into a low ponytail with a thin hairband. On the second tie, start twisting your hair through the hairband using two fingers. Tuck in any excess hair and grab your largest claw clip (this is the Novi clip) and place it over the twist. If you’ve got any face framing pieces or bangs, pull these out and voila! The easiest and cutest updo!

So cute and elegant! Braid your hair and twist this into a bun. Grab a hair pin and push this into your bun so that it touches your scalp. After it’s touched your scalp, starting moving the hair pin horizontally against your scalp and push the hairpin so that it comes out the other end of the bun. This should have secured your hairstyle, but you may have to do this a few times (I know I did). If you haven’t got a hair pin (we’re restocking these soon!), you can use a pencil for the time being… although I definitely recommend picking up an Elia Essentials hair pin once they’re restocked. Starting with a low, loose ponytail, push your hairband slightly down so that it’s not right against your scalp. Just above the hairband, separate the hair and then twist the ponytail through the gap that this creates. You may have to do this two or three times depending how long you would like the twist to be. We added our Scrunchie Set in Champagne Rose over the top for added cuteness and voila!
